Our client, a highly reputable supplier of underfloor heating and press plumbing systems has a great opportunity for a Trainee Estimator to develop their skills, full training will be offered for the right candidate with the possibility of qualifications up to HNC level.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the timely quotations of underfloor heating and associated plumbing & heating materials.
The ideal Estimator should possess the following:
Estimating or Technical experience within the Mechanical Sector
Underfloor heating estimating experience (advantageous)
A pro-active attitude and a willing to learn
Looking to develop a career in the building services sector
Excellent IT skills to include: MS Excel, AutoCAD (desirable)
Good customer service and communication skills
Good level of organisational and administration skills
Confident telephone manner with a friendly personality
A keenness to develop your estimation skills within mechanical engineering
Some of the duties include:
Measuring building plans to develop underfloor heating quotations
Liaising with clients regarding project requirements and offering quotations
Ensuring tight deadlines are met
Establishing client relationships to develop accounts via telephone/email
Other duties required to carry out the role of estimator
Consideration will be given to candidates in positions such as:
Trainee Estimator / Construction Estimator / CAD Technician / Mechanical Estimator
Package:
Salary £18,000 – £25,000 depending on experience
Contributory Pension
25 days holiday plus banks
