Project Manager – Permanent Role
£35k per annum
Our Client is a family run company based in Shropshire, providing installations throughout the West Midlands, Worcestershire, Herefordshire and Shropshire. Established for over 15 years our client has delivered both domestic and commercial projects and offer a one stop shop by way of several Renewable Technologies being offered/integrated with a bespoke service such as ground source and air source heat pumps, underfloor heating, MVHR, Solar PV, EV Chargers, energy management systems and off grid solutions.
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to pick up projects post contract and manage the in-house team of engineers on multiple domestic and commercial projects based at our clients main office in Shropshire.
Duties will include:
- Liaising directly with fellow staff and clients
- Scheduling labour and ordering components for each project element
- Managing time and project costs to high standard
- Ensuring key targets are met.
- Providing an innovative and proactive approach from design to installation and commissioning
- Dealing with every aspect of post contract project management
- Risk Assessments / Method Statements
The ideal Project Manager will have experience in both renewable technologies and construction, definitely domestic but commercial experience would also be advantageous. You will need to be a good communicator with good organisational skills.
A dynamic proactive “can do” attitude will be required. A determined eye for detail and firm grip on process and order.
You will need to understand the processes of building a domestic property to ensure you schedule all elements of work correctly and in a timely manner.
The job will be mainly office based but some site time may be required therefore a full driving licence will be required.
You will be a natural communicator and organiser and be able to maintain effective working relationships with a wide range of clients. Taking a diplomatic and tactful approach, you will be able to make sound judgements and manage risk, whilst ensuring that all colleagues are advised and well informed of the construction progress across all projects. An ability to get the best out of your team of engineers and confidence to ensure that customers get the highest quality of service at all times.
Basic Salary £35,000
