Our well established and professional Global Client has an excellent opportunity for a Heat Pump Area Sales Manager to join their team and grow their reputation as a Manufacturer of choice within the Installation, Consultancy and Merchant sectors.

They are a leading manufacturer of high-technology heating products and operate through a network of companies and distributors around the world, all well established in their own right and leaders in their respective product areas.

Focusing on sustainable energy solutions and since its foundation has been at the leading edge in developing and introducing innovative products which have high energy efficiency and reliability coupled with minimal environmental impact.

The Role:

To develop and expand the sales of the our client’s Renewable Energy i.e. Ground Source and Air Source Heat Pumps through raising awareness of the brand with key customer groups to include Mechanical engineers, Design & Build contractors and end users on a regional basis. To manage the sales of products through to order and the ultimate sale through our chosen route to market.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Business development; investigating new market opportunities.
  • Promoting our client’s products, increasing awareness of their range of Heat Pumps, both Air Source and Ground Source
  • Product Specification
  • Account Management
  • To ensure a steady growth rate within designated region
  • Develop and work to a Sales Strategy ensuring goals/sales targets are achieved
  • Liaising with all  team members in the pursuit of targets  

The ideal Sales Manager should possess:

  • Knowledge of Commercial Heating Sales
  • Excellent network / pipeline of contacts within the targeted market
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Professional attitude
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Working knowledge of Public Sector Procurement, Contractors, Consultants and Developers preferable
  • Specification Sales
  • Good Technical understanding of Renewable Energy specifically Heat Pumps
  • Excellent Account Management skills  
  • IT Skills: MS applications, to include PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Full driving licence
